Description:

 

Sadie was created in 66 hours as part of the annual BYOG(Build your own Game) Jam at the Nasscom GDC.

The game was lauded mainly for it's mechanical depth and well-implemented horror elements.
 

Based on the themes of "The Last Man On Earth" and "Synesthesia", Sadie puts the players in a near-future setting where they embody the pet dog of the Last Man on Earth as they attempt to escape the planet. The players must guide the dog to the exit, but the environment is dark and filled with enemies (terrors?). As a dog, the players are able to visually perceive sound and smells within the game and must use this to make up for the sensory deprivation to vision and find their path to the exit while evading enemies.

My Role: Artist

  • Art direction for the game

  • Created art assets for complete game

  • Designed UI/UX for the game

  • Worked on animations

  • Created marketing material like poster, Tshirts.

Achievements:

  • Nasscom BYOG 2013 Finalist
